 NFC technology opens very large new markets for developers targeting both the
NFC Competition Jury

consumer and business spaces.
Applications that enable simple but powerful user experiences and interaction possibilities initiated by "touching" (coming close) with NFC devices to tagged objects or with other NFC devices is the focus of this event.
Presentations and exhibits will explore some of the top NFC application areas including:
 Smart transactions using card emulation for payment and ticketing
Accessing digital content, for example touching a smart poster with an
NFC-enabled mobile phone
Peer-to-peer communication between NFC devices, including the wide variety
of applications ranging from simple business card exchanges to Bluetooth/WLAN
set-ups to reading data from other devices
